Alamut Valley
For the last week in Iran we went to the Alamut Valley, a little weird hotel along the only street going through. A group of sometimes friendly, sometimes grumpy, elderly man runs that place and non of them really spoke any English nor really cared about the well-being of the guests.
The mountains did though: We finally got to hike and we had great weather with it, as well. There are no marked paths and not many people around, it sometimes got adventurous. The landscape was different from what we had seen before and here was still some water coming down every now and then, trees and plants still growing.
