Old town of Cartagena
getting sunburned in the nicest alleys
I started my half-day visit of Cartagena‘s old town at the castello, offering a nice view over the city. Cartagena isn’t any beautifuler than what I’ve seen in Colombia so far and the traffic is horrible as well – but the old town has many narrow alleys with nicely painted houses. I got sunburned through my shirt and spend the end of the day in the backyard of some hostel taking a nap until it got dark, the remaining hours sleeping at the airport.
