Kerman, Kalouts

Arriving in Kerman we talked to a guide offering us to show us around the Kalouts and some other sights in the desert the next day. He he told us that there might be one or two others joining: ‚They want to hitch-hike there but I think it will be difficult – maybe we see them on the way‘.

Next morning Hossien picked us up and after showing us some hundred of years old water supply system we saw a guy sitting next to the street about an hour into the desert. We turned around and found an Iranian bus driver with a Chilean hitch-hiker! They wanted to have a bit of fun off-road but got stuck right away and needed someone to tow them off now. The hitch-hiker was relaxed though: He had a tent, enough water and food for both of them to stay overnight
